A gorgeous and very warm film…. What makes this version impressive is that it brings a different perspective without losing the magic of the novel.

No wonder Jo and Amy in all their ambiguities are the ones who leave the strongest impression and offer Saoirse Ronan and Florence Pugh respectively the opportunity to invest in and dig into their characters with relish.

Aside from one major miscalculation, this is a triumphant retelling of a book that's been brought to the screens (both big and small) on approximately a dozen occasions, the first arriving 102 years ago.

By investing [Gerwig's] audience in the internal lives of major and minor characters with equal compassion and dexterity, it’s almost impossible to not find some facet of Little Women to fall in love with — if not the whole film outright.

Every adaption of Little Women has something that sets it apart from others but few have the sheer emotion and power that we see here with Gerwig’s interpretation. Gerwig uncovers secret layers to the plot that lesser filmmakers would have not noticed

I saw this movie in theaters back in early 2020. A month after it was released being Christmas, 2019 but man did I enjoy it the first time. I loved it ever since, the vibe, characters, the story, the film look, the music, everything was GREAT. Better yet, it is still GREAT. Rewatching ow in theaters for its rerelease six years later was GREAT to enjoy again.

I didn’t want to like it… because I loved the previous one. It took some getting used to a few things, but I thought it was great—-very well done!

This movie was a bit slow paced and long, but the story was well told and ultimately inspiring. I saw this with a couple friends in the theater, and it was a fun Ladies' Night movie.

This film was truly satisfying on some many levels--acting, screenplay, musical score, and more. It was a faithful adaptation worthy of being seen by all fans of the original, as well as others who lack any preconceived notions of what Little Women ought to be,
